![]() ![]() ![]() The worst part of this particular bolt is that it's stripped and my little hex bit won't get it out. ![]() These look really bad at first and in the pics but if you take a few seconds to hit it with some sandpaper, you can tell that it's really just surface-related as you'll see with one of the standoffs below.Īfter removing the cap, the actual bolt that holds the "foot" part of the bar down:Īgain, minor surface rust. I can't believe that I didn't take a picture of one of these AFTER sanding the surface rust. This is the front bar, drivers side immediately upon lifting the rubber strip:Īs you can see, the little hex screw that secures the end cap is rusted pretty well. I took a few pictures to document what I am seeing. I did NOT get any pictures of the screw/bolt that holds the "bar" piece onto the "footer" piece I installed these (I believe) last summer. I installed these, I did NOT have anyone install them for me. OK, so I had a chance this past weekend to check these things out. ![]()
